What FlatPe does not do (today)
- It does not add late fees or interest automatically.
- It is not society accounting: no balance sheets, audited statements or statutory registers.
- It does not handle notices, complaints, visitor management or voting.
- It does not collect payments online itself: you record the payments you receive (UPI, cash, cheque).
- It does not send reminders by itself from a shared number; each reminder opens in your own WhatsApp and you tap send.
Frequently asked questions
What is society maintenance software?
Software that helps a housing society collect and track monthly maintenance: which units owe what, which members have paid and who needs a reminder. FlatPe does this; it does not produce society accounts or audit statements.
Can FlatPe collect maintenance online from members?
No. Members pay by UPI, cash or cheque as they do now and you record the payment in FlatPe.
Does it calculate late fees?
No. FlatPe does not add late fees or interest automatically. You can add a one-time charge yourself if your bye-laws allow it.
How much does it cost?
Starter is ₹499 a month and Pro is ₹1,999 a month for the whole society, not per member or per unit, with a free trial and no card.
